SCARRED is a Metal band from Luxembourg which was founded in 2000 under the name of “Requiem”. SCARRED became the official band’s name during the recording of their first demo CD, called “INNER SCARS”, in 2004, for there had been several line-up changes which made the music of the band evolve into a completely different direction.

SCARRED is now composed of four young musicians: Alexandre Sieradsky (Vocals), Diogo Bastos (Guitar), Jeff Jonas (Bass Guitar) and Laurent Kessel (Drums).

Our music is mainly Thrash metal in the continuity of bands like Pantera, Slayer or Machine Head, but also has many melodic Death metal or hardcore influences which are even more perceptible in the new songs we are writing for a future album. These songs are and will be more powerful, melodic and heavy than any of the songs on our demo CD, and include some atypical parts which deviate from the classical Thrash metal songs, making the sound of SCARRED both, different and recognizable.

But SCARRED is in first place a live band: any place, any time or any crowd, we always give 200 % of what we’ve got to rock the audience. That’s the way we promote our music, but playing gigs has always been a way for us to acquire a maximum of experience, too.
