ALCATRAZZ was formed in 1983 in Los Angeles, California by legendary rock vocalist (and Australian pop sensation) Graham Bonnet. Bonnet was a veteran of both Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, with whom he enjoyed a worldwide hit with a cover of Russ Ballard's "Since You've Been Gone", and Michael Schenker Group.
