AIRBOURNE Change UK tour dates Aussie rogues Airbourne reluctantly have to announce that their intended February UK headline tour has been delayed due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict. Originally at the start of a full European tour, the UK dates will move to the end, and kick off in the UK instead now from March 29. This now means that the UK fans will have a chance to hear the album well before the band hits the stage in the UK. All tickets bought for the original No Guts, No Glory dates remain valid. Bound to be boisterous, the full list of dates is as follows:
Tickets are on sale now priced £15 regionally, £17 London, and € 19.50 for Dublin (subject to a booking fee) and are available from all usual box offices and online at www.livenation.co.uk. There is also a 24hr credit card hotline on 0844 576 5483. All dates are all ages though under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult. The band’s second album No Guts, No Glory is due for release on February 22. It was written in a disused Antipodean pub that the band all used to work in and had their first gig at. Recording took place in Chicago with Johnny K at the production helm and the result is currently being mixed by Mike Fraser at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. When asked what the record is about, Joel O’Keefe, the band’s gregarious frontman, laughs. “It’s about rock ‘n’ roll, women, fighting, and drinking!” Cheers |
